I loved the Semper Fi books they are awesome probably cause I really love the characters. I really tried to like these characters but I couldn't. I found them slightly annoying and the surprise I figured out early on. Overall though if you want something to keep your mind in fantasy while on the daily trudge to work this is the book for you.Product details

Boneyard Beach threw me into another world, I felt like I was placed right smack in the middle of South Carolina. Living the southern life with sweet tea, "yes, ma'ma's" and all those southern manners, where the number one rule of family is protecting each other, no matter how many secrets that leads to. Jenna's depressed and exhausted, realizes her life is in scrambles and the last time she really felt any magic was back on Boneyard Beach 15 years ago. Nick harboring those same feelings, has been busy living a life that surrounds a life changing secret. This story will take you on a journey and I found myself not sure how things were going to play out or how I wanted them to. Has 15 years been to long, can you trust a family with secrets, can you believe in love again and put yourself first when the last time you did was before you knew how to care for anyone else? I loved Nick, his sense of humor and straight to the point attitude and he knows what he wants. Jenna had me giggling sometimes at her, but she also a tough cookie and really values her family. This book has a very intriguing story line, that was full of what I imagine southern living to be. I loved the feeling this book gives you, as if your there or watching a movie play out. I kept wondering "can they find true love", "is that the secret" or "no, who did that", "what else will they do to protect their family"? On top of all this, there's even hot scenes, I may have blushed a few times!!
A romance. A comedy. A mystery. This one has all of them. A good read. I highly recommend this book.
Just the book to take to the beach and enjoy !!! Laura Cooper makes all her characters fun to read about and leaves you wanting more of their story.
Not a lot of plot, but there were a few twists and turns in the story. Definitely meets definition of erotic romance. Characters were likeable enough.
I thought this was a great read. The characters were wonderful! As always Laura Cooper writes a smoking HOT story! I would recommend!
This was a good story about adult romance and 2nd chance at love. It also includes local culture which I enjoyed. I am from SC (not on the coast) and I learned many things.
Good story with a smooth flow that keeps you reading and makes you want more. I did not want the book to end. Not to mention, I grew up in Charleston, so the story location and references provided an additional dimension.
